We are former smokers
Each of us has lived through quitting cigarettes: some stopped altogether, others choose to use reduced-risk products today. We organised ourselves to take part in a debate that decides about our own health.
None of us works, or has ever worked, for the tobacco or nicotine industry.

THR Brasil is funded by us.
The association is funded by donations from its own board members, who pay for the website, travel and day-to-day expenses. We receive no money from companies, governments or foundations.
Our most important work cost nothing.
It was done with the tools democracy offers every citizen: public consultations, hearings, calls for evidence and freedom-of-information requests.
